1. Can you do extensive cosmetic cases?

By doing this, she ensures that you not only look good, but are pain free down the road.

Some cases require the involvement of other dental professionals such as orthodontist, oral surgeons, and periodontist. Hope Dental Professionals have excellent relationships with these professionals, which allows for continuity of care and the communication of your desires.

2. Do you take my insurance?

Hope Dental Professionals works with most insurance plans and is a premier provider for Delta Dental. Our office staff is well trained to help you maximize your benefits and will be happy to help you understand how your plan works, and explain to you what coverage is provided under that plan. We will file your claim for you and provide a 45 day period for your insurance company to pay. If for some unusual reason we are unable to work with your plan, our staff will help you find a dentist that can work with that particular plan.

3. I need a lot of dental work, do you have financing?

Hope Dental Professionals has several options for financing available with approved credit through outside financing organizations. These services are designed to fit your budget and needs and, all of our services are both safe and confidential.

4. I don’t need to look like a movie star, but it seems the dentists I have talked to all want me to do all the cosmetic stuff. Will you pressure me to get the latest and greatest or will you give me other options?

5. I have some teeth that are missing, and I wanted to know how I can fill those spaces. What are my options?

There are several options depending on the number of teeth you have remaining and the health of those teeth and gums. The area of dentistry that deals with filling these spaces is called prostodontics. Dr. Pate received the award for prosthodontics at the University of Tennessee among a graduating class which was number one in the nation on the National Dental Boards exam. She can help you decide which treatment is best for your situation and you can be sure the work is of the highest quality. 6. I have pretty good teeth. What is the best way to keep them that way?

Brush, floss and see your dentist! Brushing 2-3 times per day, flossing daily, and keeping your regular 6 month check-ups are the most important things you can do to maintain the health of your teeth. This is also the least expensive way to keep your smile healthy and beautiful.

7. I had a bad experience with a dentist in the past and I’m afraid of the dentist. What can you tell me that would ease my fear?

Dr. Pate is a Member of Dental Oral Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and is licensed by the state of Arkansas to provide sedation dentistry. She regularly gets compliments on how gentle she is with her procedures. Dr. Pate has even had a few people fall asleep during her procedures without the use of sedation, because they were so relaxed and comfortable. Her gentle care in conjunction with Nitrous Oxide and these sedative measures are able to insure your experience is the best possible.
